Florida is home to a great number of substance abuse and alcohol dependency treatment centers, halfway houses and rehabs. These all vary in many different ways. We know how difficult it is to start on the road to recovery. It is important to choose a center that provides the treatment, care, counseling and solutions best for you. At Reprieve Recovery Center, your sobriety is our number one concern and we will help find the right place for you even if we have to refer you to another treatment center. We are a family focused, small, local business with an active owner on site. Our passion is to help others and give back what has been given to us.
Reprieve Recovery Center offers an array of different therapeutic techniques in a small, intimate environment where each aspect of treatment is tailored to each client’s individual needs to successfully recover from addiction. Our outpatient services include many of the facets of a residential program, but clients can maintain their residence at home or in sober living. Clients are encouraged to continue to work and live their normal life while receiving the necessary treatment. In addition, we can provide the perfect bridge between a residential program and returning to life at home.
Customer satisfaction. We listen to our former clients and make changes that add to our effectiveness. We have worked hard to achieve the JCAHO certification which assesses all health organizations to meet particular standards. We pledge to continue to listen to our clients and alumni to fine tune our programs for maximum effectiveness.

Absolutely! At Reprieve Recovery Center every client is guaranteed the right to privacy. Upon admission, the client will decide who you want your progress to be shared with.
Yes, an assessment is required for admission to Reprieve Recovery Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program or Outpatient Program. A client’s IOP or OP treatment is tailored to the client by a Master’s level professional clinician who uses information gained in the introductory interview and assessment.
At Reprieve Recovery Center the treatment plan for each client is determined through a clinical and medical assessment that may include interviews, questionnaires, medical histories, psycho-social evaluations, urine and/or breath analysis, and more. The more detailed our knowledge is of the client’s total state of being, the better treatment plan will be.
In our outpatient programs, clients may attend anywhere from 1-9 hours per week based on their specific needs. Individual and group sessions are provided by licensed therapists. Groups may focus on specific topics, like family dynamics, psychodrama or lapse prevention, or they may be more general, such as a discussion group for women. Group and individual sessions are most commonly held in the late afternoon and evenings, after school and work, although services are available at other hours as well. Clients may be referred to various other services such as medical, psychiatric, legal, vocational, recovery support services, and others.
Group therapy is a type of counseling which involves regular sessions with one or more therapists, facilitators or guest speakers. The other participants will be clients who also have substance abuse issues. The number of participants varies. Many clients find that they benefit from the support they get from their peers in this setting. The group setting helps clients realize that they are not alone and may reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
If your group is small, the chairs will probably be arranged in a circle. At Reprieve Recovery Center the group starts and ends therapy at the same time. Each group session varies but it is always led by the group therapist, facilitator or speaker. Some sessions may involve clients participating in a therapeutic activity, sharing experiences or listening to a speaker.
The length of a client’s treatment at Reprieve Recovery Center will depend on the severity of the client’s addiction, as well as how the client responds to the treatments. You have to consider the amount of time it takes to recover as well as how effective the therapies are for the client’s addiction. This is dependent on the extent of a client’s substance abuse problem and dedication to recovery. It takes a lot of hard work and resolution to recover from addiction. Clients should prepare for a long stay just in case.
Yes, we are firm believers in the 12-step recovery model.
The Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Twelve Steps:
STEP 1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol – that our lives had become unmanageable.
STEP 2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
STEP 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
STEP 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
STEP 5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
STEP 6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
STEP 7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
STEP 8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.
STEP 9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
STEP 10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
STEP 11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
STEP 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
