Our Fall activities included a great day of pumpkin carving during the week prior to Halloween. RRC staff provided the pumpkins and tools for clients to attempt to carve the most unique one. Even though there were a lot of creative and well-crafted pumpkin entries, the prize ultimately went to the pumpkin from the clients in apartment 2, which briefly housed Ernie the Hedgehog in all his glory. The judges couldn’t resist Ernie’s charm, and his five minutes of fame will remain a staple of RRC’s holiday festivities history.
