In an article written by Lipi Roy, MD, MPH on March 16th in Forbes, she states over 23 million Americans suffer from Substance Use Disorder (SUD) with only 10% of those seeking treatment. She points out the unique circumstance under which this population is more vulnerable in contracting and spreading of the Coronavirus. She explores the various settings under which treatment is given.
